Well 2009 started with another trip into the recording studio where work has progressed on three tracks which will be included on a five track EP. We will be doing a gig to launch the new CD at the Ark in Edinburgh on Friday the 26th of June. The following two nights will see gigs in Dundee & Glasgow, where you will of course be able to purchase the EP. Currently we are looking into booking more gigs throughout the summer to promote the release of the CD.

Well we played a couple of gigs recently, in Dundee and Hawick, both were well received and was good to see people standing right in front of the stage headbanging away at both. These include two new songs that we have yet to play live, namely, Go To Hell & Out Of Control.

Well the first gig of the year has been and gone. Seems Sunday night metal is not as unattractive proposition as I feared. Visions of everyone deciding with a week of work looming that an early night would be best. Leaving us to play to a room containing only an appreciative soundguy, well Ralph always does say how much he likes us. Thankfully though my fears were unfounded, and it was clear people still want to rock, even when they have to get up early in the morning!

Well the last time we went into the Studio Hearts sacked George Burley on the morning of a game against Dunfermline. This time around Hearts lost to Dunfermline in the 4th round of the Scottish Cup. Must make a mental note to make sure there is no game against the Fifers when we come to finish the album!
