1st August 2008

Does the album sound a bit too much like Maiden, Priest & Purple? Well you can read a review of it in the current issue of Powerplay magazine and see what you think. They seem to reckon we show a bit too much of our influences and not enough for ourselves. Though they do redeem themselves slightly by saying that, Gripped By The Throat & Out Of Control are Classic Rock Tracks.

Elsewhere we have confirmed a gig at The Ark in November supporting Maiden Scotland, tickets for this will soon be on sale via our online shop. Before then though we have gigs in Dundee and Hawick on the 15th and 29th of August respectively, as well as our own gig at The Ark on the 20th of September. The Hawick gig sees us supporting Scotland's Premier Judas Priest tribute, Junior Priest, so is well worth going along to.

New recordings from last year have been mastered and the final copies were handed to band members last week. Sounding great. Really looking forward to getting the tunes out there for you all to check out. We're still working on the artwork for the CD cover with two ideas being considered.
Murray, as per usual is way ahead of himself and has already got the tracklisting for album 2 written out. A mixture of some old tunes re-arranged, and some new tunes that we have been working on over the last month or two.
Gig bookings are slowly coming in for this year, very slowly! But keep an eye on the gigs page as we shall be adding more as soon as we get back into the swing of things after the Xmas/New Year break. Cheers.

All the guitars were completed for the four latest tracks recorded, these being, Motor Man, Go To Hell, 24 Hour Breakdown, & Out of Control. All that remains to be down for these songs is Murray to go in and record the vocals.
Artwork for the album is nearly completed and should be unveiled on the website soon. Final order for the tracks on the album has yet to be decided, but all the songs set for inclusion are as follows, Fire Island, Gaydar, Pleasure Slave, Motor Man, Gemma Gemini, Sail On, Too Much Work, Devil's Spawn, Go To Hell, 24 Hour Breakdown, Out Of Control, Gripped By The Throat & Dare Devil On The Shore.
